| Here I come, Disneyland |

Well, today wraps up the lats day of training for me in California. Tomorrow morning I make a quick drive up to Anaheim where I'll check into a hotel within walking distance of Disneyland. I just hope the weather gets a bit nicer. It's been overcast, smoggy, and cool here. Not that that's a terrible thing, I'm just hoping for a bit more sun in the next few days.

Well, here I am in Costa Mesa sitting in another FileNET Panagon training class. The flight down was probably the smoothest flight experience I have ever had. On the flight to Seattle, it was a beautiful day and I could see the subdivision where I live very clearly. After I arrived in Seattle, I only had a 15 minute wait before I boarded the 737-100. The plane was maybe 25% full, and we took off right away. We arrived in Costa Mesa about 20 minutes early and it only took me an additional ten minutes to secure my rental car and arrive at my accomodations. Wow. I wish all travel could be that smooth.
More later. I have to get back to work here.

The great guys at Doomworld included An Affinity for
Pain in their /newstuff Chronicles this week. /newstuff is the
name of the Directory that new releases show up on the 3dgamers.in-span.net
mirrors. Here's what they had to say:
The music man returns with another big wad, this time with a tune. It's a
brick/stone/wood affair, and is pretty complicated - some times you will
wonder where to go next. The detail is impressive right the way through, and
the gameplay is quite good as well. Plenty of tough monsters, and the ammo
is pretty tight for most of the map so you could end up using your fist if
you're not careful. However, one key weapon is hidden away in a secret,
meaning you won't be able to handle the latest fights in it. Still, an
impressive map that should be played.
Whatcha waitin' for? Install your Doom2 Source Port of choice and get playing my
latest map!

You have to get up early in the morning to pull
a fast one on us. Being a pretty big fan of NASA and having a
multitude of respect for all the men and women involved in the Space
Program (past and present), it's great to see something completely
satirical.
