When I dream, they are epic. Not some fleeting fanciful 30 second whimsy, but rather they seem to be hour-long journeys. Last night I went roller skating. And it seemed very real. I'm a good skater, to be blunt (not the in-line variety). I was on the speed team when I was a kid, etc. But I haven't donned a pair  in close to twenty years. Last night, phycisally, I felt like I really had on a pair of skates, and believe today I could pick it back up easily.

I also got to see my late father, Quimby, which was nice. Great to see dad again. He would drive me and a buddy or two Wednesday to the local rink for years when I was a child. I miss that.
